Evanston Township High School (ETHS) will present a collection of Shakespeare’s works this month. The Upstart Crows, ETHS’s Shakespeare Club, will perform its annual Shakespeare Showcase in the school’s Little Theatre.
Performances are at 4pm on Wednesday, January 25, and at 2pm on Saturday, January 28. The Wednesday performance is free to the public. Tickets for the Saturday show are $5 for adults, $3 for students, available at the door.
This year’s Showcase will feature scenes from “Hamlet,” “Romeo & Juliet,” “Macbeth,” and “Comedy of Errors.”
The Upstart Crows is made up of freshmen through senior students. Some seniors have been in the group all four years at ETHS. All of the “Crows” share a love of Shakespeare and delight in bringing his plays to life on the stage.
