YWCA Evanston/North Shore, in collaboration with other groups, invites the public to participate in “Be Bold: Let’s Move the Needle,” an evening that includes conversations with women entrepreneurs, artists, and law enforcement personnel on women’s economic progress and the journey ahead.
The event will be held at 6 p.m. on March 8 in the Upstairs Theater at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave.
The program will commemorate International Women’s Day and will feature keynote speaker Evelyn Diaz, President of Heartland Alliance, and performances by poets from “Louder Than a Bomb.”
