Grassroots political advocacy group Action for a Better Tomorrow (ABT) is hosting a policy seminar titled “State of the State: An Inside Look at the Chaos in Springfield (and How to Solve It)” with Daniel Biss. Biss is State Senator from Illinois’s Ninth District and winner of the 2017 Illinois Democratic County Chairmen’s Association gubernatorial candidate straw poll. The event is the first installment of ABT’s “Policy in 60 Minutes” series, which aims to educate ABT members and the public on important issues in politics today. An ABT-Evanston Chapter meeting will follow the seminar in the same room. Both events are open to the public and admission is free.
