Evanston community members are invited to attend the Housing and Community Development Act Committee’s public meeting on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at 7 p.m. to provide comments and feedback on the City’s 2016 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER).
The CAPER discusses Evanston’s accomplishments in meeting its community development goals using federal grant funds provided through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs.
The meeting will be held in Room 2402 of the Morton Civic Center, located at 2100 Ridge Ave. A copy of the report is posted online at cityofevanston.org/caper.
The 15-day public comment period for the CAPER opens March 6 and closes after the meeting on March 21. Comments may be submitted in person during the public meeting on March 21, by email at cdbg@cityofevanston.org, or by mail. All mail submissions should be addressed to Jessica Wingader, City of Evanston, Room 3304, 2100 Ridge Ave., Evanston, IL 60201. Printed copies may be reviewed in Room 3305 of the Morton Civic Center on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
