The League of Women Voters of Evanston, Evanston Community Foundation, Evanston/Skokie PTA Council, and ETHS Parents Engaged are sponsoring a series of candidate forums leading up to the April 4 municipal and school board elections. 

Forum for District 65 School Board Candidates

March 14: 7-8:30 p.m., District 65 School Board candidates. Hill Education Center, 1500 McDaniel Ave. (Forum for City Clerk candidates has been cancelled.) 

Forum for City candidates

March 18, Council Chambers, Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave.

10-11:15 a.m., Mayoral candidates

12:30-1:25 p.m., First and Third Ward Aldermanic candidates

1:45-2:40 p.m., Fifth and Sixth Ward Aldermanic candidates

3-3:55 p.m., Eighth and Ninth Ward Aldermanic candidates

The forums are free and open to the public.  Audience members will be able to submit written questions during each forum.

All of the forums will be taped live.  Links to the recorded video will be shared by League of Women Voters of Evanston on its website (www.lwve.org), through the other sponsors’ websites, and through social media.  The District 202 forum video is available at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/evanston-township-high-school.  The District 65 forum will be streamed live at http://www.district65.net/domain/72.
