The District 65 referendum won in a landslide with 80.4% of voters casting a “yes” vote, and 19.6% casting a no vote.
SCHOOL DISTRICT 65 BOARD
The four candidates who won a four-year term on the District 65 School Board are Candance Chow, with 11,180 votes, Lindsay Cohen with 10,997 votes, Joseph Hailpern with 9,669 votes, and Suni Kartha with 9,540 votes. Nicholas Korzeniowski missed out with 8,101 votes.
Anya Tanyavutti won a two-year term on the District 65 Board in an uncontested race.
SCHOOL DISTRICT 202 BOARD
The four candidates who won seats on the District 202 School Board are Jude Laude with 10,573 votes, Gretchen Livingston with 9,783 votes, Pat Maunsell with 9,292 votes, and Pat Savage-Williams with 8,180 votes.
Russell Kohnken missed out with 7,515 votes, as did Anne Sills with 6,552 votes.
