For this year’s Racial Justice Seminar, the YWCA Evanston/North Shore invites community members to “learn from expert speakers, poets, rappers, and musicians, engage with others, and (re)imagine with us. Imagine new ways of working toward racial justice.”

Guided by the leadership of YWCA Evanston/North Shore and the expertise of activists, poets, musicians, and artists, the goal of “(Re)Imagining” is to bring people of all ages together to develop skills to work for change, formulate action plans, and engage with others to make our communities more just.

The summit, to be held April 6 and 7 at the Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 Ridge Ave., is open to the public.

Admission to the April 6 evening event – 6-8 p.m. – is $30; admission to the April 7 event – 9 a.m.-4 p.m. – is $100; admission to both is $125. Registration is available at
