Natural Habitat Evanston is a Climate Adaptation Task Force bringing together interested individuals, organizations, and businesses to help Evanston achieve National Wildlife Federation (NWF) certification as a Community Habitat for birds, bees, butterflies, and other pollinators that migrate through the Chicago area each spring and fall.

Natural Habitat Evanston encourages local residents and institututions to earn NWF certifications by (1) providing the four basic elements that all living creatures need – food, water, cover, and places to raise their young – and (2) reducing or eliminating the use of pesticides and herbicides.

Join with other habitat volunteers to promote the certification program and help with community education activities and events. Please email Habitat@NaturalHabitatEvanston.org and get connected today.
