 The Evanston Symphony Orchestra concludes its 71st season – titled “Symphonic Blockbusters” – conducted by Music Director Lawrence Eckerling at 2:30 p.m. on June 11 at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall on the Northwestern University campus. The performance of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No 2 “Resurrection” will feature an  orchestra that includes organ, the North Shore Choral Society, soprano Carla Janzen, and alto Stacey Eckert.

The North Shore Choral Society will also join the ESO in Mozart’s motet “Ave, Verum Corpus” to open this “Blockbuster” program.
