The past few weeks have seen much activity at 1627 Sherman Ave.; contractors coming and going, deliveries arriving and a string of talented, amazing, and interesting artists coming to look around the new Pop Up Gallery.

The Pop Up Gallery is a retail concept from entrepreneur Sally Beach and Stephen Brooks.

With more than 50 artists represented, the gallery has an eclectic mix of products from art pieces by Ron Crawford, Nancy Rose, Jim Parks, Jim Lange, and Steve Slaske; photography from Catlin Vera, Rimma Mitchell, and Linda Goad; with jewelry from Laura Tanner, Airel Arwin, Sandy Stricker, and Altered Ever After.
The shop opened July 20, and the gallery will be open seven days a week. Both Mr. Brooks and Ms. Beach  say they are “keen to play a part in bringing back to life the shopping experience on Sherman Avenue.”
