This summer, the District 65 School Board approved a shift in algebra programming for the 2017-2018 school year. Families of 8th grade students are invited to learn more about the shifts in Algebra placement, including an overview of the new Algebra EXCITE class, and to ask questions. The sessions will be facilitated by Stacy Beardsley, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, and respective school leads. All sessions will be one hour and held in the school library. Spanish interpretation will be provided. The sessions will be held as follows:
• Chute Middle School, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. and Aug. 31 at 9 a.m.
• Haven Middle School, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. and Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m.
• Nichols Middle School, Aug. 23 at 6 p.m. and Sept. 5 at 6 p.m.
