Live music, beautiful art, flavorful fare, and a perfect day marked the center of the annual Evanston Art & Big Fork Festival, held Aug. 18-20 along Sherman Avenue from Clark to Davis streets and on Church Street from Benson to Orrington avenues.

Traditional mediums such as painting, sculpture, and, photography were showcased alongside unique, usable art, including handmade jewelry, one-
of-a-kind furniture, and home accessories. This year, many artists participated in the Green Ribbon Project, agreeing to donate 10% of the proceeds from a selected piece of their artwork sold at the festival to the Spinal Cord Injury Association of Illinois. Participating artists hung a green ribbon in or on their booths.
