The North Shore Harmonizers, a women’s a cappella barbershop chorus, will perform at 10:30am on Saturday, September 23, at the Evanston Farmers’ Market on Maple Ave.
Directed by Evanston resident Alice Lane, this lively concert will feature a mixture of songs, some from Broadway, ’60s favorites, and American classics. So, stop by while you stock up and enjoy the music.
Founded in 1952, the Harmonizers perform at their own public concerts, at special and holiday programs for senior citizens and other Chicago-area groups throughout the year, and at farmers’ markets during the summer and fall.
