The City of Evanston’s Public Works Agency has announced additional street cleaning dates in November and December to help clear streets of leaves and other debris.

Voluntary parking compliance is requested for the following street cleaning zones on the following days:

  • Zone 1: Tuesday, November 21 (south/west sides of street) and Wednesday, November 15 (north/east sides of street)
  • Zone 2: Tuesday, November 28 (south/west sides of street) and Wednesday, November 22 (north/east sides of street)
  • Zone 3: Tuesday, November 7 (south/west sides of street) and Wednesday, November 1 (north/east sides of street)
  • Zone 4: Tuesdays, November 14 and December 5 (south/west sides of street), and Wednesdays, November 8 and 29 (north/east sides of street)
  • Zone 4S: Tuesday, December 5 (south/west sides of street) and Wednesday, November 29 (north/east sides of street)

Community members who’ve subscribed to email or text message notifications for street cleaning will receive a courtesy reminder for these additional street cleaning dates at least one day prior to the cleaning day. To subscribe to text message or email notifications for street cleaning, visit cityofevanston.org/streetcleaning or call/text 847-448-4311.

Residents are reminded that raking leaves into the streets is illegal. For more information, please call/text 847-448-4311. For convenience, residents may simply dial 3-1-1 in Evanston.
