Through a variety of boards, committees and commissions established by the City of Evanston, residents can provide input on the policies that greatly advance the shared vision of making Evanston “the most livable city.” There are currently more than 20 boards and commissions that advise the Mayor and City Council on a vast array of issues.

Residents interested in serving on a board, committee or commission are encouraged to submit an online application at cityofevanston.org/applybcc. The application will be kept on file for two years and will be viewed as positions open. The deadline to apply for the newly formed Equity and Empowerment Commission is Monday, November 20.
