The two-foot branch pictured here gives a new meaning to “wired.”  Entangled in electric wires, it’s still hanging around some three years after the giant elm tree it was lopped off of was cut down to the ground behind the garage at 1103 Grant St.

It is just another page in utilities snafus, like the Nov. 16 Traffic Guy story featuring a redundant portion of an old utility pole dangling from the new pole. Here hangs a dead branch from a dead tree that neighbors, if not Chicken Licken, worry might some day be part of a falling sky.
