The City of Evanston’s annual holiday light recycling program will be held Dec. 1, 2017- Jan. 31, 2018, in conjunction with the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County and Elgin Recycling.
All holiday string lighting and extension cords are accepted through this free program. Garlands, live greens, and wreaths will not be accepted. Lights can be dropped off
at the following locations:
Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave.: Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd.: Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave.: Mon.-Thurs., 9 a.m.to 9 p.m.; Fri., Sat., 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sun., noon to 6 p.m.
