Aina Gutierrez will take over next month as Executive Director of the Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse. She has spent more than a decade working in not-for-profit organizations, serving for the past three years as the Chief Operations Officer at Youth & Opportunity United (Y.O.U.).
Ms. Gutierrez is the author of “Walking the Walk: A values-centered approach to building a strong non-profit.” She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Augustana College and a master’s of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School.
“I am honored to join the Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse team and to build upon the amazing work done by founder Lou Dickson.”
ERW is unique in its innovative solutions to keeping waste out of landfills, providing affordable building materials to the community, and job training to residents that have experienced barriers to steady employment,” she said.
