Students from Evanston Township High School were recognized in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Winning entries are awarded on the basis of originality, technical skill, and a personal voice or vision.

In photography, Gold Key recognition went to Jesse Bond, Naiyah Bryant, Jonah Charlton, Lily Greenberg (three photos), Hannah Jacobowitz (two photos), Sachin Patel, and Tom Sevcik, Nick Carroll, Susana Choto, Lily Greenberg (two photos), Hannah Jacobowitz (two photos), Gabriela Karlan, Natalie Long, and Tom Sevcik won Silver Keys. Honorable Mention went to Jesse Bond (two photos), Henry Brady (two photos), Jonah Charlton (two photos), Matan Fireman, Maya Shwarzman, and Asher White.

In Painting, Gold Keys went to Jesse Bond and Asher White; and Silver recognition went to Asher White. Nicole Kezdy won Honorable Mention.

In Drawing & Illustration, Gold Key recognition went to Nicole Kezdy, who was also awarded Honorable Mention for another entry.

In Mixed Media, Silver recognition went to Nicole Kezdy and an Honorable Mention to Asher White.

In Film & Animation, Silver recognition went to Ellie Thatcher and Honorable Mention to Asher O’Briant.

In Art Portfolio, Silver recognition went to Tom Sevcik and Honorable Mention to Asher White.
