“Born with a Junk Food Deficiency,” a food and drug expose written by the RoundTable’s Martha Rosenberg, is featured on the Washington, D. C., television program Bookman’s Corner during the month of February.

The 30-minute Bookman’s Corner, aired on Channel 69 in Arlington, Vir., has previously featured a wide range of authors whose works run from philosophy to banjo playing; poetry to politics; and faith to fiction.

Ms. Rosenberg’s “Born with a Junk Food Deficiency” was part of One Book One Chicago programming last year at the Harold Washington Library Center. It details how the FDA and USDA serve industry rather than U.S. consumers, resulting in unsafe food and drugs.

Ms. Rosenberg is the RoundTable cartoonist.
