Evanston Police will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on April 26, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue. The room has been changed from the Parasol Room to room G300. The meeting will focus on Social Media, Crime Prevention, and Community Policing.
The meeting is the third in a series of town hall style meetings hosted by the Police Department. Each meeting focuses on a specific variety of topics and is facilitated by Dr. Gilo Kwesi Logan. Each meeting covers police polices, procedures, and protocols related to the topic of discussion. The first meeting focused on Cultural Awareness and Community Policing. The second focused on Gangs and Drugs and Unsolved Homicides.
The Evanston Police Department invites citizens to join us and engage in thoughtful discussion. The format of the meetings will consist of a facilitated panel discussion, followed by a question and answer session. We need your questions on the topics of Social Media, Crime Prevention, and Community Policing.
