The National Weather Service reports that yesterday’s Lake Michigan temperatures were 69 at the Chicago shore, 69 at the Chicago crib and 68 at the Wilmette buoy.

City Council voted to proceed with demolition – or perhaps it will be deconstruction – of the Harley Clarke mansion.

Aldermen are also pursuing a referendum about increasing the City’s real estate transfer tax.
