Northwestern University hosted its third annual Community Picnic on July 21 on the East Lawn of Norris University Center, where free food and family activities were plentiful. Family tours of the Sculpture Garden were sponsored by Northwestern Art Circle in partnership with Block Museum of Art and Northwestern libraries.
A bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, and super hero activities made it a fun-filled afternoon for the youngest picnic-goers. Sponsored by Northwestern’s office of Neighborhood and Community Relations, the event was free and open to all; however advance registration was requested.
