Now in its 61st year, Evanston Township High School’s iconic student show YAMO opens on Oct.12 for a seven-night run in the school’s Upstairs Theatre. Written, directed, choreographed, scored, produced, performed, critiqued, revised, and perfected annually by ETHS students, YAMO is a musical sketch comedy revue. This year’s theme is “YAMO: Choose Your Own Adventure.”
YAMO show dates are Oct. 12, 13, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27; performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Ticket sales and are available online at $12 each for pre-selected, self-print tickets (http://our.show/yamo2018). Early ticket purchase is advised, as the shows sell out quickly. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
The Upstairs Theatre is wheelchair accessible by elevator. Parking is recommended in Lot 2 behind the school, with entry from Lake or Church streets. Anyone wishing more information about YAMO may contact the ETHS Fine Arts Office at 847-424-7130.
