On Oct. 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in room A252 at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave., various volunteer repair experts will be available to help make all possible repairs free of charge. Tools and materials will also be on hand.

One of the mending volunteers will run a mending basket sewing class free for anybody (adults, kids over 10, or kids under 10 with supervision).

People can bring their bikes and broken items. Toasters, lamps, hair dryers, clothes, jewelry, toys, crockery … anything that is broken is welcome – and more than likely will be repaired.

People attending the Repair Clinic can park in Lot 2A or 2B, and enter through door #31 on the west side of the school.
