The annual Pumpkin Patch sale for the Evanston School Children’s Clothing Association was held on Oct 6 at Independence Park. The weather was a bit wet and misty, but everyone still enjoyed the day with face-painting and tasty refreshments.

The event provided close to $3,000 in proceeds to benefit ESCCA. Coldwell Banker graciously donated the 800 pumpkins, which it has been doing now for 27 years.  ESCCA provides a full wardrobe of clothing and shoes for over 600 D/65 Evanston/Skokie children in need each year. Clothing assistance services are performed efficiently and discreetly, always keeping the dignity of the families in mind.

Anyone who wishes to donate “gently used” jackets and snowpants may drop them off at any District 65 school ESCCA bin. Monetary donations are always appreciated. More information by emailing info@escca.org.
