Students Invited To Enter Mayor Hagerty's Holiday Card Contest

Mayor Stephen Hagerty is inviting young Evanston artists to help design his holiday card.

To participate in the contest, artists must be an Evanston resident of K-12 school age. Submissions are limited to one per artist.

Submissions should be emailed to holidaycard@cityofevanston.org with the subject line, “Mayor Holiday Card Submission/YOUR NAME” by 8 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Mayor Hagerty will select one winner, who will receive Citywide recognition for the design.

In order to be eligible, art submissions must:

• Remain secular• Conform to a standard greeting card size of 5 inches by 7 inches• Be at least 300 dots per inch (dpi) in order to ensure image quality• Not exceed 50 megabytes in size
