Good Morning, Evanston
At last night’s City Council meeeting:
The Mayor announced that the City Manager would stay.
The City Manager will bring to the Nov. 12 meeting a plan for the Youth and Young Adult Division. Speakers during the public comment session objected to closing Fire Station 4, cutting the funding to the City’s Mental Health Board (the proposed cut amounts to about 30%), eliminating the positions of public health educator and communicable disease specialist (doing so would dismantle the Health Department).
