More than 200 people were on hand for the Oktober Feast celebrating D & D Finer Foods’ 45 years in business at 825 Noyes St. Face painting, Halloween balloons, plenty of fresh pumpkins – including the grocery’s annual “guess the weight of the pumpkin” contest drew customers old and new to a tent in D & D’s parking lot.
Music, a tasty selection of food, and a spirit of friendship pervaded the celebration.
