Nearly 350 guests attended the Celebrate!Evanston fundraiser to benefit Evanston Community Foundation on Oct. 11 at the Hilton Orrington Hotel. The evening featured a musical revue directed by Judy Kemp, many guest speakers and a live auction. The event grossed over $280,000 to support the Foundation’s mission to help Evanston thrive as a just, vibrant and inclusive community.

“We are honored to have so many in our community join us in support of Evanston” said President and CEO Monique B. Jones. “At the Foundation, we’ve seen that where giving thrives, community thrives too. The contributions of our community partners and supporters tonight are truly inspiring. From the generosity of our
corporate sponsors to the service of the Dance Marathon volunteers to the talent displayed by tonight’s performers, we are thrilled at the generosity on display this evening.”

Gene Servillo and Michele Berg closed the evening by thanking guests, saying, “As our evening comes to a close, we want you to leave here tonight knowing that people are at the heart of ECF.”
