Evanston Police will partner with Moms Demand Action of Evanston to give citizens an opportunity to turn in their guns for cash in a buy-back event scheduled for 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on
Dec. 8 at the Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 Ridge Ave.
This is an amnesty-based program (no arrests) open to residents of Evanston, Skokie or the North Side of Chicago with ID.
Payment is $100 cash. Guns must be unloaded, complete and operational and should be transported in a case, bag, box or other enclosure or in the trunk of a vehicle.
