According to the website of the Cook County Clerk’s Office, four candidates have filed to run for the District 65 School Board in the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election, and four have filed to run for the District 202 School Board. Three positions will be filled on each Board.

Candidates were required to file their paperwork by Dec. 17.

District 65

The terms of three members of the District 65 School Board will expire in 2019, and three seats will be filled in the April 2 election. The three members whose terms will expire are Anya Tanyavutti, Sergio Hernandez and Rebeca Mendoza. Each of these members have filed papers to run for reelection. In addition, Nicholas Korzeniowski has filed papers to run for the a position on the Board.

District 202

The terms of three members of the District 202 School Board will expire in 2019, and three seats will be filled in the April 2 election. The three members whose terms will expire are Monique Parsons, Jonathan Baum and Mark Metz. Of these, only Monique Parsons has filed papers to seek reelection.

The other three candidates who are seeking a position on the District 202 Board are Slaney Palmer, Elizabeth Rolewicz, and Stephanie Teterycz.
