Evanston Children’s Theater presents the world premiere of Chicago playwright Keyanna Khatiblou’s adaptation of “The Twelve Dancing Princesses.” Twelve sisters challenge the boundaries set by an overprotective parent, and the kids in town wish to find out what is happening. Performances are at 7 p.m. on March 15, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on March 16 and at 3 p.m. on March 17 at the Levy Center, 300 Dodge Ave. Tickets, at $7, are available at the door.

Children in Evanston Children’s Theater range from age 8 to eighth grade. There are two productions each year, with auditions held the first week of school,  each August and January. All performances are held at the Levy Center, 300 Dodge Avenue.
