Midwest Young Artists Conservatory Jazz, Choral, and Orchestra students take the stage on Oct. 13 at Pick-Staiger Concert Hall at Northwestern University to present an all-day concert event beginning at 1:30 p.m.

The event will showcase a variety of music from the Romantic Era to jazz to traditional folk melodies.

The Symphony Orchestra will perform French composer Hector Berlioz’s dramatic and musically autobiographical “Symphonie Fantastique.”

MYAC’s 2019-20 theme is “Music Unites Us,” emphasizing the universal language of music as a unifying force for good. Student performances during this year’s season will tie into this timely theme.

Tickets are available at mya.org/events/tickets or 847-926-9898 and at the door.
