Parties interested in presenting their draft proposals for the Harley Clarke Mansion and Coach House to the general public are invited to do so at a community meeting at 6 p.m. on Nov. 5 in the Parasol Room of the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave.
The City of Evanston is seeking to enter into a long-term lease of the Harley Clarke Mansion and Coach House to a party that will invest in and renovate the property at 2603 Sheridan Road.
Interested parties are invited to attend this non-mandatory community meeting to present their ideas to the public and receive feedback. Presentations should be emailed to Purchasing Specialist Jill Ostman at jostman@cityofevanston.org by 3 p.m. on Nov. 5 or can be brought to the meeting on a thumb drive.
Participation in the meeting is not required to respond to the City’s Request for Proposal. The deadline to submit proposals is Feb. 28, 2020.
Community members are welcome to attend the meeting to hear from presenters and provide their feedback. The meeting will adjourn following presentations from interested parties in attendance; if no proposals are presented, the meeting will adjourn. The meeting will not include a presentation from City staff or discussion of the City’s Request for Proposal.
This is the second and final non-mandatory community meeting where interested parties can present their draft proposals to the public for feedback.
More information about the Request for Proposal and the property can be found at cityofevanston.org/2603sheridan or by calling/texting 847-448-4311. For convenience, residents may simply dial 3-1-1 in Evanston.
