Last month  approximately 330 friends of the Evanston Community Foundation (ECF) raised $300,000 at its annual Celebrate!Evanston event held at the Charles Gates Dawes House.


Michael Miro, former Executive Director of Mudlark Theater. Highlights of the evening were performances from Northlight Theatre entertainers Jennifer Lattimore, who interpreted a moving tribute to the late Mayor Lorraine Morton, and Heidi Kettenring, who performed two songs. Other entertainment included Fred Zimmerman, also known at the Chicago Mentalist, and Al Zunamon on piano.

Co-chairs Michele Berg and Gene Servillo announced that the evening made ECF history with the highest ever sponsorship support from a wide-array of local businesses and organizations.
