The winter holidays are coming, and the North Shore Harmonizers, a women’s a cappella barbershop chorus, will spread holiday cheer at four upcoming North Shore concerts, two in Evanston.

On Nov. 29, the Harmonizers helped Glencoe residents celebrate their annual tree-lighting ceremony and welcome Santa Claus with holiday carols at 5:30pm in downtown Glencoe on the Wyman Green.

On Dec. 3, the Harmonizers will sing holiday music at Three Crowns Retirement Home, 2323 McDaniel Ave., at 7 p.m.

The Harmonizers will present a holiday concert Dec. 12, at the American Legion Memorial Civic Center, 6140 Dempster St., in Morton Grove, beginning at 6:30pm. The event is hosted by Mather LifeWays.

And to round out the holidays, the Harmonizers will sing holiday music on Dec. 17 at Symphony of Evanston, 820 Foster St., beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Celebrating more than 60 years of singing, the North Shore Harmonizers perform at their own public concerts, at special and holiday programs for senior citizens and other Chicago-area groups throughout the year, and at farmers’ markets during the summer.
