On Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 5:30 p.m. at Evanston’s Fountain Square, Indivisible Evanston will join Moveon and numerous other national organizations in hosting a rally to demand impeachment and removal of Donald Trump from office.

Dan Biss, Laura Fine, and Reverend Michael Nabors will be there to support the cause. There are currently 558 people signed up to attend, and the numbers are increasing hourly.

Over 500 rallies are planned nationwide, with over 100,000 people signed up to attend.

The mobilization is part of a massive, grassroots effort to ensure Congress holds Donald Trump accountable for using military aid to pressure Ukraine to interfere in the nation’s 2020 elections. Protestors will demand that the House of Representatives fulfills its constitutional duty by impeaching Donald Trump and that the Senate remove him from office for attempting to rig the 2020 elections. Congress must show that no one—including the criminal in the White House—is above the law.
