NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) is asking our communities for assistance in helping to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The numbers of COVID-19 cases and deaths in Illinois are on the rise, and all of us must continue to take action to keep our communities safe. With this new virus, we are learning that there’s an expanding list of possible symptoms so now, more than ever, we need to get the word out.

If you’re experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, congestion, sore throat, runny nose, difficulty breathing, decreased sense of smell or taste, or flu-like body aches, we ask that you contact our community health hotline—HEALTH9 or 847.432.5849.

If you’re already a NorthShore patient, you can log on to www.northshoreconnect.org to be screened. If you’re not a NorthShore patient, you can enroll in NorthShoreConnect and use the COVID-19 E-Visit. Please use the same link, click on the “sign up now” button and follow the instructions.

The most effective ways to contain the spread of COVID-19 is to practice social distancing; wash your hands thoroughly and often; and stay home.

Thank you for your assistance and cooperation as we all work together to mitigate this pandemic and keep our community’s healthy and safe.

Respectfully,

NorthShore University HealthSystem
