Summer is here and patio season is back! This weekend is the perfect time to check out one of Evanston’s many outdoor dining spots, from rooftops to sidewalk cafes. Expect to see expanded outdoor dining options, including in City parks and streets, coming soon!

Business Reopening Highlights

Temperance Beer Co. Beer Garden opens today! Facial coverings will be required when ordering and all tables will have at least six feet distance between chair backs. The back deck will be open until 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, so make your reservations now!

Sketchbook Brewing Company offering limited seating this weekend! Pre-paid packages are available to limit physical contact and reservations are required. Visit their website for additional information and to make reservations.

Terra & Vine‘s patio is now open for dinner and they are featuring a brand new menu and have implemented some safe dining guidelines. Call or visit their website to make your reservation.

Tomate Fresh Kitchen reopens Mon., June 15! In addition to implementing some new safety measures, they have been cooking up some delicious new items they can’t wait to share with you.

Looking to get a sidewalk cafe permit?

Sidewalk cafe permits can be submitted online. Applications will be reviewed by members of the City’s Design and Project Review (DAPR) Committee on a first-come, first-served basis. Questions can be directed to Building & Inspection Services Division Manager Gary Gerdes at ggerdes@cityofevanston.org
