On June 28 between 1 pm and 3 p.m., the District 65 LGBTQIA community plans to hold a YOUTH focused Pride Caravan across Evanston. Caravans will be kept small (about five cars) so as to reduce any impact to traffic and it also allows fans waving from their front decks to see multiple groups come by.
Heather Sweeney, one of the organizers of the caravan, says the group is in the process of mapping out the route. Residents who can get three or more people on their block to cheer the Pride Caravan in a set 20-minute period are asked to sign up with the organizers, who will set a time for each block.
