The summer of COVID saw several front-yard concerts, as masked and socially distanced audiences milled on the sidewalks or sidled into the streets. Renee Schleicher anticipated that when she invited neighbors to a Labor Day weekend concert by Kraig McCreary and Christy Ogilvie McCreary: “Please know that you may end up sitting on my front lawn or in the street” the invitation read.
For more than two hours neighbors enjoyed Mr. McCreary’s occasional solo and his accompanying Ms. Ogilvie McCreary’s singing. Many of the songs were from their new CD “Akimbo – a girl, a guy and a guitar.”
