Justin Blake, brother of Jacob Blake, leads a march from Jacob Blake Manor to Ebenezer Primm Towers on Oct. 3

More than 100 people gathered at Jacob Blake manor on Oct. 3, marching to a rallying point at Ebenezer Primm Towers, about a mile away. Both structures were built with the help of Reverend Jacob Blake, whose grandson, also named Jacob Blake, was shot seven times last month by police in Kenosha, Wis.

Jacob Blake’s brother Justin encouraged the crowd to vote. Police Chief Demitrous Cook passed through the crowd offering masks to those few (if any) who had come unmasked.
