Design Evanston’s two books are being featured on Chicago Architecture Center’s Open House Chicago during the 10-day event that runs Oct. 16-25.
“Evanston’s Design Heritage,” published this fall, profiles 127 of Evanston’s notable architects, designers, landscape architects and planners who have lived and worked in Evanston, with an introduction by public TV personality Geoffrey Baer. The authors will be presenting the book during Open House Chicago via Zoom on Thursday, October 22. To view the presentation, register with CAC at: https://www.architecture.org/programs-events/detail/book-talk-evanston-s-design-heritage-architects-designers-and-planners/
“Evanston: 150 Years 150 Places” that features notable architecture is also being featured during Open House Chicago. Selections by the authors can be found on CAC’s OHC 2020 app as a self-guided tour, “Architecture Reflecting History”.
