Staff from Vitalant will be hosting a blood drive, including antibody testing from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the Community Meeting Room of the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Ave.
Due to physical distancing, appointments are required. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 877-258-4825 or visiting Vitalant.org. On the website, visitors can select “Donate” or “Make an appointment,” log in, then scroll down the webpage to search by group code: 065B.
Presenting donors will receive a coupon for a pint of Culvers Frozen Custard.
Donors are required to wear a face covering and bring an ID; they are advised to eat and drink well before donating blood. State Representative Robyn Gabel is co-sponsoring the event.
