Twenty-year-old Ryan Bost was shot in Chicago yesterday; he was reportedly taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 2019 graduate of Evanston Township High School, where he excelled in basketball. There is no official word from Chicago Police.

Condolences from friends have been posted on FaceBook, such as this one from Evanston Fight for Black Lives: “Evanston Fight for Black Lives wants to wish our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Ryan Bost. Many of us knew him as a kind, caring and considerate soul. He will always be remembered for his involvement as a star player on the ETHS basketball team, as well as a loving member of our Evanston community.”
