I was pleased to learn that President Elect Joe Biden and Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris are already making plans to address the Covid-19 virus pandemic.

Recently, I was made aware of the confusion about and resistance to what one should do when exposed to someone testing positive to the virus. Quarantining oneself seems to be a no-no for some people.  Excuses for not quarantining have been stated as: Not being able to go to work and risk losing pay or one’s job and not letting someone else rule their lives.  Of course, not quarantining puts others at risk.

Another sad happening is people testing positive and not informing others that they are positive.  How inconsiderate of others is that? In spite of the way some news reports point out that certain groups of people are more susceptible to catching the virus than others, having the virus does not declare one to be a low-life.

Again and again, pleas are made for folks to WEAR MASKS.FOR YOUR SAKE AND THE SAKE OF OTHERS. Citing constitutional rights as the reason not to wear masks is not a valid excuse.  When addressing humans Patrick Henry supposedly said: “Give me liberty or give me death.”  If said to the Covid-19 virus, it would say, “I will oblige.”
