Today the City of Evanston reported there were 33 new Covid cases, down from the 60 reported yesterday. The State reported 11,026 new cases today, down from 15,415 reported yesterday.
Due to a data delay, IDPH reported there were 27 deaths in the State yesterday due to Covid, with the proviso that the number would be increased today when the data came through. The number of deaths yesterday has been revised to 93, and the number today is 100.
In the last five days the number of deaths in the State due to Covid has been 79, 145, 43, 93, and 100.
The number of hospitalizations increased to 5,415.
