Amidst uncertainty, worries, and e-learning, families are finding sacred moments within their own homes. Community members are welcome to the annual First Congregational Church of Evanston, UCC Christmas Pageant reimagined creatively and available via Zoom.

Andrew Biliter of Mudlark Theater wrote and co-directed this collaborative virtual Christmas Pageant with Sarah Petersen, FCCE Director of Learning and Outreach. This year, whole families created mini films about the love they find among the mess, beauty and daily life of all being at home. The documentary-style mini films are woven together with surprise elements and Zooming angels who help us see the Christmas story of Love happening all around us.

This free Zoom premiere begins at 10 a.m. Dec.20, reflecting how families are finding the sacred in special and ordinary places everyday – even in a baby lying in a manger.
