On Dec. 4, the RoundTable announced that it would publish photos of people wearing masks to protect against the spread of COVID-19, and already many of you have responded.
Today’s mask-wearers are Melody Marion Bickhem and her grandniece. Ms. Bickhem writes, “My 4-year old grandniece, Ambraya Strickland, had no problem wearing her mask when we went shopping recently. Her favorite line when I try to assist her putting it on: ‘I can do it myself.’ And she does so just fine.”
From now until April 30, the RoundTable will publish one photo every day of someone helping to slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask.
Please send us a photo of you or a family member or friend wearing a mask or face covering that protects against the spread of COVID-19. Holiday-themed, whimsical, personalize or standard – we welcome them all. Send to editor@evanstonroundtable.com. If you would like to add a brief comment, we would welcome that as well.
Health experts have for months said that we can save 70,000 lives if 95% of Americans wear masks between now and April.
